VIDEO: Neurologist Oliver Sacks dies aged 82

British neurologist Oliver Sacks has died of cancer at the age of 82.

He is best known for his work examining the quirks of the human brain.

His book Awakenings, about patients with chronic sleeping sickness, inspired a play by Harold Pinter and an Oscar-nominated film.
